The Experiment:

Two playwrights each completed the first draft of an one act play through the assistance of four actors over an eight week period.


ORAD’S Pride Event at Buddies:

This one, we’re strictly working as a performer.  We performed on June 6th at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre for ORAD’s pride event. 


2nd annual Hard & Able: celebrating queer disability: 

This night of cabaret performances by artists that identify as queer & disabled was held on Tuesday June 29th at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre at 8pm. $5. ASL interpretation provided. Wheelchair accessible venue.


Granny Boots: Hard & Able edition:

As part of the Gladstone’s weekly Granny Boots, the Hard & Able crew has been asked to come and strut their stuff.  This evening will feature four queer disabled artists demonstrating their singing, dancing, and spoken word abilities on May 19th at 8pm. FREE

ASL interpretation provided.  Wheelchair accessible venue.


Gender Exploration Workshop with ASL interpretation

In partnership with:  Buddies’ queer youth programme & Picasso Pro

This was a 3 week project that paired queer deaf and queer hearing youths together to create a drag performance that would feature ASL. 

Performances were then included in the monthly queer youth open mic with ASL interpretation provided for the first time in the programme’s history.


Hard & Able: celebrating queer disability

This night of cabaret by queer differently abled individuals was held on Monday August 24th at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre at 8pm and SOLD OUT.


Say Something! was a LIVE internet discussion show featuring four unique and opinionated voices that aired on random Sundays at 10pm for 9 months.  Visit here to see some of the archived footage
